Perdiem Connect Privacy Policy
Last updated: Oct 28, 2026
Overview
Perdiem Connect LLC ("Perdiem Connect," "we," "us") collects only the information needed to connect law firms with per diem attorneys, and we do not sell your personal information.
This policy applies to the Perdiem Connect mobile app, the website at www.perdiemconnect.com, and related services (together, the "Services"). It covers law firms and their staff who request coverage, and attorneys who accept coverage assignments. By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect the information you give us when you create an account and use the Services.
We also receive basic technical data needed to run the app, such as device type, app version and error logs. We do not use this data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We may also collect information from public sources, such as state bar records and court websites, to verify an attorney’s admission and good standing.
If you refer a law firm to Perdiem Connect, we use the contact details you give us only to reach out to that firm about the Services.
We may email attorneys and law firms who do not yet have an account, using business contact information that is publicly available or that was shared with us in a professional setting. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests.
How we use your information
We use your information only to provide and improve the Services:
- Create and manage your account
- Post, match, confirm and track coverage assignments
- Deliver documents and work product, such as deposition summaries
- Send messages, notifications and assignment updates, including by text message
- Process invoices and payments
- Verify attorney credentials and prevent fraud or misuse
- Respond to support requests and meet legal obligations
We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Between parties to an assignment. A firm and the attorney covering its assignment see each other's contact details, the case information and the documents needed for that assignment.
- Service providers. Companies that host the app, store files, send messages and process payments for us. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or Perdiem Connect.
- Business transfers. As part of a merger, sale or reorganization, subject to this policy.
Case materials you upload stay confidential. Attorneys handling assignments must keep them confidential under their professional obligations.
Payments
Payments go through a third-party payment processor. Full card and bank account numbers are entered with and stored by that processor, not on Perdiem Connect's servers. We keep only what we need for records, such as transaction amounts, dates, and the last four digits of a card or account.
Retention and security
We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed afterward to complete assignments, keep business and tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction. You can view and update your profile information in the app at any time.
- Account deletion. You can delete your account in the app or by emailing admin@perdiemconnect.com. We will delete your personal information, except records we must keep for legal, tax or dispute purposes.
- Notifications. You can turn off push notifications in your device settings, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
- Text messages. If you give us a mobile number, we may text you about assignments and your account. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. Email us to make a request.
Children
The Services are for legal professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date, and we will notify you in the app or by email if the changes are significant.
